Traditional Braces

Traditional metal braces have been a go-to treatment option for the past few decades. Recent advances in orthodontic treatment have brought changes to braces in order to help them become low-profile, more comfortable and easier to care for than they have been in the past. This service is offered by our certified Orthodontist Dr. Kim.

How Braces Straighten Teeth

Braces put continuous pressure on the teeth over a period of time, slowly shifting them into their new, proper positions. 

As pressure is applied and the teeth move, the bone will change shape to accommodate the new positions of the teeth. 

SureSmile Clear Aligners

SureSmile clear aligners can be used to gradually straighten a patient's teeth using a series of individually customized, clear plastic aligners. Each set is slightly different so your teeth will adjust over a period of time. 

With clear aligners, there's a built-in convenience factor — you can remove them when you'd prefer no one know that you are straightening your teeth. 

Aligners look similar to custom whitening trays and are easy to insert. You will be able to remove them to eat, drink, brush and floss.
